腎衰竭

本人有一親人在2012因小腸壞死而做了切除手術，但因壞死部份接近大腸所以連大腸有部份也需切除，所以連接大小腸中的活門也切除了，現時他吃甚麼都會好快排出體外。想問
1）小腸原本長度3m切除後只有1.5m算是短腸症嗎？
2）在港有否小腸移植手術嗎？
3）另外他現在同時也有腎衰竭是否因為小腸問題而造成？
