停經後出血

本人57歲，已停經兩年，過往幾年身體檢查都說我子宮比一般的厚，有兩個肌瘤，每年身體檢查都會照超聲波觀察。最近突然出血，婦科檢查亦話我子宮比正常人厚，入院刮宮檢驗為良性。因為我的肌瘤沒有縮小反而比半年前身體檢查度的大了些，現在約有4cm，醫生叫我考慮是否切除子宮。
我應否切除子宮？切除子宮後有什麼後遺症？希望得到你的專業意見，謝謝。
