牙骹痛

最近，張開口閉口時左邊牙骹感覺有東西阻礙牙骹閉合，需要用力閉合，並會發出「咯」一聲，會感到痛楚。到私人牙醫求診後，醫生話左邊牙骹軟骨因為過份張開口所以輕微移位，醫生話休息一個月及唔好過份張開口就會自行好番。
想請教一下，以上情況是不是真的會自行康復，不需要做任何治療替軟骨復位??
