是否患了牙周病？

老公時常說牙好痛，刷牙時經常流著牙血，又有口氣，每次都話應該是捱夜熱氣，朋友話老公試過都有類似情况，最後睇牙醫話是牙周病要做特別治療，很麻煩的，想問醫生怎樣先知道他是否患了牙周病？如果真的患了要怎治療？謝謝！
