MMCR (Muller’s Muscle Conjunctival Resection) is one of the method for correction of mild to moderate ptosis with good levator function. There are many causes of upper eyelid ptosis, depends on the cause and severity of the ptosis, different surgical procedures may be indicated.

As a plastic surgeon, we usually use anterior approach for ptosis correction rather than MMCR. By using anterior approach, we can have a more precise correction and also can remove excessive and redundant upper eyelid skin at the same time.
