My son was diagnosed with major depression when he was in Canada in 2012, then he came back to visit Dr Cheung who diagnosed him to have bipolar and changed his medication completely starting immediately. He added Iodine as stabilizer and lowered antideoression drug. Then my so had suicide thought and goes worser after seeing him for 3 months. Also Dr Cheung used a equipment to measure my tension by holding his arm. Dr Cheung used this equipment to decide whether the medication issued by Canadian physciatrist. The test costed us HK 1000 so the first visit costed $4500. Dr Cheung also.used questionnaire to assist diagnosis. But Dr Cheung did not spend time to talk with my son and even after 3 times visit he still did not remember my son who he was. So first it was improper for a psychiatrist to change the medication from former psychiatrist immediately without transition. Second how come a machine can tell whether the psychiatrist medication is suitable instead of through talking with feedback from my sons. I think he is not qualified psychiatrist.
