膀胱石手術

Your are a great doctor. You are right. Thank you so much for your reply. I have a bladder stone 3.1 cm * 1.7 cm * 2.1 cm. Is it necessary to have open surgery because the stone is quite big? Would it be OK to have open surgery to avoid the trans-urethral cystolitholapaxy which may have a risk of trauma and may lead to urethral strictures? Thank you

Bladder stone certainly can be taken out by open operative approach. The medical practice is as follows - the surgeon will discuss with you on the different methods of taking out the stone. He will also advise you on the pros and cons of the different methods. The decision on accepting which method is yours. So you can decide on having an open surgical method. It is your decision that matters.
