Dr Liu is one of the most egotistic doctors I have yet to meet in HK. Apparently, he is one of the most famous plastic surgeon in HK (only hearsay), and that gave him the ego. I was having serious inflammation with my sinuses. While he was one of the penal doctors, he was highly recommended by a work colleague. The first meeting was deflating for me. Dr Liu was very direct, talked down on people, and not nice at all. But after seeing my medical card, attitude changed somewhat. Besides the personal attitude, the work was actually quite good and efficient. I was referred to for a CG scan and was told that I need surgery. Availability was almost immediate, and the surgery was so good that my wife had the same surgery with Dr Liu 2 years later when she had the same problem. In conclusion, Dr Liu could be a very good medical choice, but as for other stuff (service, attitude, etc...), you will have to be prepared.
