Both my parents have visited Dr Yuen lately. My mother first visited him last Saturday, accompanied by my father and me. My father was so impressed that he booked a check-up session with Dr Yuen earlier today for himself. Dr Yuen explained my mother's condition to us thoroughly and in terms understable even by a layperson (using a plastic model of the eye and powerpoint slides), but without omitting any detail or options. Many doctors, especially the more experienced ones, tend to make decisions on the patients' behalf through telling half the story. Dr Yuen laid out all the available options, including those he did not prefer, qualifying his opinion with evidence from the latest research. At the same time, he was sharp and clear on his recommendations. We asked some tough questions (we saw several other doctors before visiting him and did our own research as well) and he was able to give precise answers to every single one. He also considered the issue not only from a health perspective, but also from a qualify of life / social angle. Dr Yuen is indeed a brilliant eye doctor and I would recommend him to any of my family members / friends.

我左眼睛有點矇矓和看到一點點黑色，以為一般飛蚊症過幾日會無事。直至第4日都沒有好轉，經朋友介紹看源旭醫生。當日約了18:00，我早5分鐘到。辦理好登記，等了3分鐘姑娘已安排我驗眼。驗好眼很快可以見醫生。一坐下，我把情況告訴源醫生。源醫生幫我詳細檢查後原來我是視綱膜有裂縫。當時我很害怕，幸好源醫生好詳盡、有耐性和專業的解釋此病的起源及如何醫治。因為我是早發現，可以用激光治療。我決定即時做，不用10分鐘就完成。2星期後去覆診。
在此我要感謝源旭醫生。我問了你好多好多問題，你都不厭其煩為我解答。感謝姑娘，你們真的很細心。
