You need to have investigations and treatment for pelvic infections. Going to the public hospital or social hygiene clinic is certainly options beside private clinics. Please don’t delay going to the doctor.
1. If you are breastfeeding, the period may take a while to return 2. The mini-pill with just progesterone is suitable 3. Some antibiotics may interact with the contraceptive pill indeed, please discuss with your doctor 4. The pills can indeed cause hair loss via different mechanisms. However, there are other causes which can predispose to excessive hair loss. You may wish to see a doctor to exclude some underlying causes which may be treatable.
1. There can be some delay in return of menses when you are lactating, especially exclusive breastfeeding 2. There are pills suitable for lactating mother, you would optimally need consultation, screening and contraceptive advice from a gynaecologist. 3. Some of the medications even when used locally on skin may have systemic absorption (absorbed into the body) and has potentially may interact with the oral contraceptives. Besides, some drugs may not be suitable for lactating mother 4. There are many possible causes for hair loss. If the condition is serious enough, you may consider seeing a doctor in the first instance
