I think you would need to have colposcopy to assess the cervix, and endometrial sampling or hysteroscopy with endometrial sampling to assess lining of the uterus. If you were to have colposcopy and endometrial sampling, these procedures can be done as outpatient in the clinic without need for anaesthesia. All these can be done in our clinic.
Hope this is helpful for you!

It depends on if you are a carrier or full bloom thalassaemia patient, you are welcome to book in to see an obstetrician with maternal and fetal medicine background for further information.

It is best to see a gynaecologist for abnormal pattern of vaginal bleeding for a full consultation and further investigations to exclude problems. Ultrasound scan may be helpful; but, endometrial sampling may be required.
