If you have an abnormal cervical smear of a degree that require further investigations like colposcopy, you have to see a gynae specialist doctor to have colposcopy to make a diagnosis (usually with cervical biopsies). With the diagnosis available, treatment and monitoring plan can then be planned.

It seems that you may have secondary subfertility with possible tubal factors. If you are keen to conceive, the next step will be to see the fertility doctor for advice and help. You may have to undergo full consult, some investigations and be advised the options. If both tubes are blocked, IVF +/- ICSI may be the way forward.
Given your age, the rule of waiting a year of self-trying to conceive before getting medical help does not apply. It would be helpful for you to see a gynaecologist to have an initial consult, +/-investigations to allow you a more realistic approach or direction for conception.

Hello Yee,
If you have heavy menses leading to anemia, you do need gynae specialist to investigate and treat (medications +/- surgery) accordingly. Anemia can affect all systems in the long run!
