青光眼＋白內障

父親現年74嵗，青光眼患者，長期滴眼藥水，五年前肺癌切除手術後，視神經急促壞死，已經雙目失明，只剩右眼對光線有微弱的反應，父親也患嚴重的白內障，有眼科醫生建意做白內障手術，期望對右眼的視力有所幫助，父親和家人都明白不可能完全恢復視力，但只不有一點改善，我們都願意一試，期望有經驗的醫生可以給我們一些建意。謝謝！
