甚麼是老人黃斑,應怎樣醫治?

本人父親有糖尿病，輕微血壓高，雙眼有少許白內障。最近檢查眼睛時，醫生告之左眼有老人黃斑，每當看東西時，有一黑影遮擋影像。請問甚麼是老人黃斑，應怎樣醫治？請早日答覆，謝謝！
