手術後失去部份記憶力

醫生您好：我已約本週六(25號)與爸看你。我爸(約80歲)在大約一個月前做了一個需全身麻醉的手術。最近我們發現他好像失去部份記憶力，在洗澡和睡眠上出現困難；另外他在接收新事物也比較吃力。但他對答如流，記憶舊事也沒有問題。
請問醫生是不是有一種情況叫手術後認知障礙?它會慢慢痊癒嗎?還是它是腦退化的一種?
