The high viral load indicates the active viral replication in the liver and thus active inflammation and prone to chronic inflammation, cirrhosis (fibrosis of liver tissue) and liver cancer.

I would recommend anti-viral treatment regimen including injection of interferon and oral ribavirin, under the supervision and monitor of hepatologist specialist. Treatment is provided in both Hospital Authority and private specialist. A full course of regimen including necessary blood test monitor would cost more than hundred thousand dollars.
