記憶力衰退？
醫生您好！
本人母親48歲，這一年來，記憶力開始衰退，不時都忘記剛才還在手上的中藥方，放到哪裡，時常要到處找尋，又不時忘記當日自己是否吃了高血壓藥等等，好像對很容易新記憶遺忘，但對一些習慣，如上班時間(每日不同的)，和舊記憶都仍然記得。請問醫生，我母親是患了甚麼病？
需要接受甚麼治療改善以上情況？謝謝！

Your mother appears to have a memory problem which is more than expected from her age. This could be an indication of an abnormality of brain function. There are several possible reasons, such as early degeneration of brain cells or other lesions in the brain, a vitamin deficiency, or a thyroid hormone deficiency.
The best thing to do is to bring her to consult a neurologist ( a specialist in the nervous system). The specialist would take a more detailed history of her symptoms, perform a thorough neurological examination and order appropriate tests to try to find the cause of her memory problem so that she can be treated properly.
