arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
病患者男 - 50歲
arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery -
1. on the left shoulder, MRI report indicates there is a bursal sided footprint in the distal supraspinatus tendon, measuring 1.1x0.8cm (AP x TS)
2. would an arthroscopic rotator scuff repair surgery relieve repair tendon tear?
3. would absorbable implant be recommended and available for use in surgery?
4. which hospital(s) have adequate facilities to perform such a surgery? TWAH?

Dear Mr. Vvv,
Please don’t worry too much about surgery first. I would recommend you to see an Orthopedic surgeon, bring along all the MRI films with you. A proper consultation and physical examination would come up with a treatment plan tailor-made for you. There are many factors before we decided whether to go for surgery, and whether we need to repair the rotator cuff arthroscopically.
