骨折一定要打鋼板嗎？

病患者男 - 15歲

想查詢打波致左手上臂有一支骨折，另一支脫位，現已第4天，打了石膏，但需要做手術打鋼板嗎？病者正值發育期，若不做手術會否令他骨骼生歪？若做了手術，鋼板何時要開刀取出？
